Supporting The Magic Breakfast Initiative:
tackling school hunger, together

According to The Food Foundation, 4 million children are now living with food insecurity. The British Nutrition Foundation adds weight to this with findings that 31% of surveyed primary school teachers report children coming to school hungry. With food inflation on the rise again, this figure is only likely to increase.

The impact?

Hunger hinders concentration, triggers behavioural challenges, and ultimately affects attendance and attainment.

Understanding the urgent need to support pupils while acknowledging the financial pressures schools increasingly face, allmanhall is thankful to be in the position to be able to support the Magic Breakfast initiative across England and Scotland.

In partnership with our client Artemis Venue Services, for every £10,000 of their spend through Bidfood, we will donate the equivalent of 1,000 breakfasts. This collaborative initiative launches on 1 September 2025, with donations made after trading reconciliation near the end of each term.

Jo Hall, allmanhall’s co-owner Development & Marketing Director, says; “The old adage goes ‘breakfast is the most important meal of the day’. Certainly, when it comes to concentration and nutrition for young people, this is the case. This is why allmanhall are so grateful to be able to support our client partner, Artemis Venue Services, with their charity initiative with Magic Breakfast. They’re on a mission to transform lives and eliminate school child hunger and the team at allmanhall are only too happy to help.”
