The Science Based Target Initiative is a way for companies to solidify their commitment to carbon reduction. After completing a baseline carbon audit, allmanhall has pledged our commitment to reduce carbon emissions from this baseline. This commitment is checked and monitored annually, in line with the Paris agreement to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees above pre industrial levels.

Transformational and collaborative supply chains
Our client and supplier relationships are established on fairness, integrity, longevity, and mutual respect. We expect our suppliers to uphold these same values and to commit to bring about transparency within their supply chains. This means our clients are able to appreciate what lies behind our food from a social and environmental perspective to the same extent as quality, cost and taste.
Tackling the impacts of climate change is fundamental to our operations and supply chain as our food industry both contributes to and is vulnerable to its effects. We collaborate to ensure our operations and actions have a positive influence on the places and people that we work with, including our extended supply chains. Suppliers are expected to uphold the values and implement the standards of this code with their own suppliers. Any breach of the obligations is considered a material breach of contract by the supplier. All suppliers must work within and adhere to UK law and all laws and regulations within countries of operations.

Award-winning platform: Pioneering partnership
Foodsteps and allmanhall - working with catering teams to support net zero through carbon impact assessments:
We seek to provide our clients with choice when it comes to what products they buy and the suppliers with whom they work. We don’t tell clients what they can and can’t order, but do enable the provision of better access to information to help them make their own more sustainable decisions. This includes our partnership with the award-winning carbon impact assessment platform, Foodsteps.
Together, we’re helping to make sustainability data both transparent and accessible.
By uploading your recipes, the environmental impact of your menus will become clear. A rating tool and labels show the carbon footprint. Posters and stamps help communication.
Foodsteps can be used to set and monitor targets and inform decisions. You can use it to educate your diners and improve the sustainability of a menu.
